Guidelines for Authors
Everything you need to know about our standards, licensing policies, and formatting steps before sharing your work.
Portal Scope & Focus Note
Please Note: This portal is a welcoming space dedicated to thoughtful essays, cultural reflections, and simplified introductory blogs on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). We are not a technical, formal academic journal—so please refrain from submitting heavy, high-tech research entries. Our core mission is to share highly readable, engaging articles tailored for curious minds worldwide.
Our Writing Standards
- Your work must be entirely your own. If you are quoting old foundational texts, commentaries, or other writers, please confirm to credit them clearly through annotations.
- We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. Any copied or uncredited work will be rejected immediately from our screening pipeline.
Our Policy on AI Tools
- We want to read your authentic voice, thoughts, and expressions. Please do not use ChatGPT or alternative generative AI models to compose or rewrite your drafts.
- You are welcome to utilize automated computing tools for basic checks like correcting spelling typos or polishing grammar, but the core script composition must be human.
Copyright, Licensing, and Fees
- Free to Read: To support global access to traditional knowledge, all approved entries are completely free for the public to read online without paywalls.
- You Keep Your Rights: Authors retain the full, unrestricted copyright to their own work. Once it is hosted on our website, you are free to share or publish it elsewhere.
- Absolutely No Fees: We do not charge a single rupee to evaluate, process, edit, or host your articles. This remains a purely non-commercial academic initiative.
How to Prepare Your Draft
- Length constraints: Keep your article brief and reader-friendly—somewhere between 800 to 1,200 words fits perfectly.
- Languages supported: You can submit your piece in English, Hindi, or Sanskrit (using standardized clean Devanagari script fields).
- 🚨 The Secrecy Rule: Because our review board executes a completely blinded assessment, do not write your name, college, or email anywhere inside your document file or its file name. Personal information belongs solely inside the Google Form fields.
The Review Process and Timeline
Once you upload your draft, our senior Ph.D. editorial panel reviews the piece without knowing who wrote it. Articles are evaluated purely on clear structural thinking, factual reliability, and how interesting it is for common readers. We value your efforts, and an official feedback response (acceptance, rewrite request, or rejection) will arrive via email within 14 days.
